CSCA 2026 Convention - Ethnicity, Race, International, and Class Concerns Caucus ... Panel Proposal

Dear ERICC Caucus members,

SOGI is organizing a discussion panel proposal at CSCA 2026 for an intersectional book club around the work of Audre Lorde. They have put forth two possibilities – either a biography of Audre Lorde published in 2024 by Alexis Pauline Gumbs or a revisiting of Lorde's "Sister Outsider," as so many of her essays are just as relevant more than 40 years later.

They have invited ERICC to include 1-2 of our members as part of this book club/discussion panel. If you are interested, please let me know by emailing me at mudambi@uwm.edu by July 25. Also, please let me know if you feel strongly about either option.
