Reminder: Submit to IFCIG for CSCA 2026 – Deadline Oct. 10

Dear Interpersonal and Family Communication Interest Group Members,

I hope you are each well. This is a friendly reminder that the deadline to submit for the Central States Communication Association (CSCA) 2026 Convention is a little over a month away -- October 10th at 11:59pm (CDT). This year's theme is Translate! We are excited to see submissions for our interest group that relate to the theme to support how we can communicate what we know to people outside of the academy walls.

To read our full call for submissions please follow this link.

Our division accepts:

  • Full Papers (25 page max excluding title, references, abstract, appendices)
  • Discussion Panels
  • Paper Panels

If you are submitting a paper or discussion panel you are encouraged to include people representing multiple institutions on the panels. Additionally, no one person should serve more than one role on a panel. For example, a chair should not be a paper presenter or discussant on the same panel.

We are also looking for folks who would be willing to review for the division — if you had time to read a few papers, please email me (natalie.pennington@colostate.edu) and share a little about your research and method interests so I can help to match you to submissions. I appreciate each of you and the time you give to support the interest group.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Best,

Natalie Pennington
