On February 2-3, the FLARE Board of Directors will engage in an in-person retreat and strategic planning to help ensure FLARE's long-term sustainability and to further plan our activities for America250. We are now 4.5 years old and want to hear about your experiences with FLARE and your suggestions for our future. We will also have many volunteer opportunities and provide an opportunity to select a committee. Finally, we are ready to launch our experts bureau, and the survey provides you with a way to become a part of it. Those who are interested will receive a detailed explanation of how it will work. FLARE receives requests for interviews, usually on very short notice, and often we do not know someone who can provide expertise. This will enable us to direct journalists to the experts.
